Woza Invited to Geo for Good 2025

Woza has been invited to Geo for Good 2025 in New York, one of the most selective global gatherings focused on using geospatial technology to address real-world challenges.

At the summit, we will present our talk:
“From Forest to Future: A Regional Digital Twin System.”

Geo for Good convenes a narrow group of organizations, researchers, and operators working at the intersection of technology, environment, and decision-making. It is not a showcase of ideas, but a forum for systems that already operate in the real world.

Our contribution focuses on how regional digital twin systems can move beyond visualization and become operational instruments. Instruments capable of connecting forests, environmental data, and institutional decision-makers into a shared, computable understanding of territory.

Forests are no longer isolated ecological assets. They are part of broader regional systems where climate dynamics, land use, infrastructure, and governance interact. Managing these systems requires more than monitoring. It requires intelligence that can model interactions, anticipate stress, and support decisions that hold over time.

In this talk, we will share how Woza approaches digital twins not as static replicas, but as living systems continuously updated, grounded in physical reality, and designed to support resilience at regional scale.

Geo for Good 2025 will take place in New York City, August 25–28, 2025, bringing together organizations working where environmental complexity meets operational responsibility.

For Woza, this invitation reflects a growing recognition that the future of sustainability will be shaped not by isolated tools, but by integrated systems capable of operating under real constraints.
